Sanità is the Naples district that has come back to life: the San Gennaro Catacombs, the Veiled Christ, workshops that have been running for three generations. You live inside it — you don't watch it from a balcony in Chiaia.

Beds reserved for deserving students.

A share of the beds is dedicated to students with strong academic results but a limited budget. If you qualify, you get an ultra-low rate. If you are not a DSU student and don't have a grant, our starting rates are still among the lowest in Naples.

Zero gas

No boiler, no gas canister, no gas bill. Heating and hot water are 100% electric.

Rooftop solar panels

The panels produce the residence's own energy. Electricity bill cut to the minimum, often zero during the warm months.

The building is insulated from the outside. In winter you keep the warmth in; in summer you keep the Naples humidity out. AC runs only a few hours a day, bills stay low.

Rione Sanità: where Naples reinvented itself.

The district of the Veiled Christ, the San Gennaro Catacombs, third-generation pizzerias and workshops. But also the neighbourhood that came back to life thanks to its young residents: cooperatives, theatres, the Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità, the nearby MADRE contemporary art museum. Live here and Piazza Cavour, Piazza Dante and the UNESCO historic centre are all a short walk away.

How do I apply?
Fill in the form at the bottom of the page with your details. We call you back within 24–48 working hours for a first chat. The formal application with documents will open after April 2027, when we confirm the start of construction.
I am a DSU student. Do I have priority?
Yes. 30% of the beds — 6 out of 18 — is reserved for DSU rankings under ADISURC Campania rules. It is a requirement of the PNRR programme, not a concession: if you are a DSU student, you have a dedicated track.
When does it actually open?
Construction scheduled for November 2026 → April 2027. Target opening: September 2027 for the 2027/28 academic year. We update you month by month by email — if there are delays, you will know first.
What documents do I need to apply now?
None. Just your contact details. At this stage we are collecting interest to size the waiting list. Real documents (ISEE, university enrolment, ID card) will be requested after the CDP Notice of Admission.
Are the rooms accessible?
Yes. A full ground-floor unit is designed for PRM students: accessible bathroom, dedicated living area and kitchenette, barrier-free entrance.
How far are the universities?
On foot: Academy of Fine Arts 10 minutes, Federico II Veterinary 17 minutes. The closest metro is Cavour (Line 1 + Line 2), about a 15-minute walk: an interchange from which you can reach Piazza Garibaldi, Federico II Central, Toledo and the entire coast in a few minutes.
